Mission Statement Print

Our Purpose and Objectives:

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Our purpose as a Christian school is to train the whole child, spiritually and academically. We will help equip each child with a Biblical worldview. POGC will begin each morning with forty-five minutes of Bible study. We will pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and the Bible, as well as the American flag. We pray frequently throughout our day and have bi-weekly chapel.

Attendance at POGC is a privilege, not a right. The goal of POGC is to train youth in the highest principles of moral character, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship. POGC stands without apology for high standards of morality and wisdom.

Our spiritual objectives are salvation for each student, development of Christian character, and development of a Christian attitude. We want to provide an education that gives children the spiritual wisdom they need to grow and become strong Christians. Finally, we seek to prepare the children year after year for the world ahead of them and give them confidence to know that the Grace of God is upon them for the rest of their lives and through His blessings all of their goals can be accomplished.
